Prince Zuko the Rhode Island Red

Born on September 19th, our little yellow chick, Princess Azula, grew to become a strong, beautiful, and protective young rooster! Now known as Prince Zuko, this sweet guy has been hand raised since a few days old and will come to eat treats out of your hands. He stands tall and proud with his firey red plumage and emerald green tail feathers. Zuko began crowing at 9 weeks old, much to our surprise! What started out as a little croak, has now become a full crow always around 9am! He is very sweet to his people, other chickens, and the family dogs he's encountered, but we have learned he's not afraid to stand up to outside threats and protect his flock of ladies (and gentleman). Zuko has been raised with four hens and another wonderful rooster, Dandelion. Once the hens were introduced into their new flock in our coop, Zuko and Dandelion became best friends and have always been kind to one another. He is shy at first, but is quite the character once he gets to know you. Prince Zuko is an absolute gentleman and would be a great addition to your flock. We hope he can find his forever home!
