Meet Benedict Cumberhatch!
Ben hatched from one of the farm’s eggs and has grown into a rooster we’re proud to have raised. He’s healthy, handsome, confident, and a dedicated guardian of his flock.
Ben has plenty of personality! He keeps a watchful eye on his hens, maintains order in the flock, and when treats appear, he always lets the ladies eat first. Ben is accustomed to being pet and held, and has never shown aggression toward another chicken.
We would love to see him join a flock that will appreciate everything a good rooster brings to the table, and provide a loving home. Ben is a vigilant guardian, a gentleman with his hens, and the kind of rooster who makes a flock feel complete. If you’re looking for a rooster with character, strong instincts, and a genuine dedication to his ladies, Benedict Cumberhatch is ready to take charge of his next kingdom.

'Yellow' the stunning Buff Brahma
This gorgeous Buff Brahma is now 11 weeks old, happy, healthy, and ready for his forever home! Yellow was hatched from a set of Serenity hatching eggs in our Elementary school classroom. Our students adored and cared for these hatchlings and handled them daily, so they enjoy being pet, held, and hand fed treats. While we are unable to keep them in the city, he will make you a happy roo owner with his stunning feathers and bubbly personality.

Meet Joe Black er... Bradd Pit
This handsome little guy is Bradd Pit and he's looking for a flock to protect. Bradd has been part of our family for the past 13 weeks (or so) but has recently found his voice and Aurora says I can't keep him. He's good with being held but prefers to do chicken things. Bradd and his ladies recently got a new coop and he forged the path his mates needed to feel comfortable with their new surroundings. He'd be a great addition to protect your hens.

Wren the Gentleman Rooster
Meet Wren, a true gentleman looking for his forever flock. Wren hatched on Valentine’s Day 2026, which assuredly adds to his gentle demeanor and beautiful, iridescent plumage. He was part of a trio of three chicks from the Hatch & Gather homestead store in Colorado Springs. Of the three, Wren ended up being an “accidental” rooster and could no longer live in the City. Before his first cock-a-doodle-doo, he was raised indoors with his sisters Egret and Woodstock, where he got plenty of enrichment, and even learned to ride on his human-mom’s shoulder. Once they were big enough to go outside, they learned to forage in the backyard through the soft grasses and shady bushes. Together, the three chicks easily integrated with an older flock of established hens. The newly joined flock had fun causing harmless mischief, digging in the garden beds, peeping through the flowers, and clucking at the…
