Meet sweet Nef 🐓🖤 Our accidental little gentleman is a Black Australorp with glossy black feathers that shimmer the prettiest blue-green when the sunlight hits them. He grew up here surrounded by 11 chickens—8 older hens and 3 girls from his own baby flock—and from the beginning, he seemed to decide they were his girls to look after. He was especially devoted to the three he grew up with and always kept a watchful eye on them, ready to step in if he thought they needed protecting. Nef is curious, attentive, loyal, and has such a sweet little rooster heart. We were so sad that our boy couldn’t stay with us, and we would absolutely love to see him land somewhere he can have a flock of his own to love and protect. Whoever gives this beautiful gentleman his forever home is getting a very special boy. 🥹🐓✨

Ice Cream is a handsome gray Silkie rooster with a classic sweet, gentle silkie personality. He’s been a fantastic chicken, and zoning is the only reason we have to give him up. We're hoping someone will give this special little guy the home he deserves.
