Enjoy a private onsite adoption session to select the exact kitten(s)/cat(s) you want to add to your family. If adopting and taking home the same day as your appointment, the $40 Kitten appointment fee is applied towards the adoption of (2) kittens if you decide to adopt on the same day. Thank you for your interest in our kittens! They have been raised in a barn/outdoor environment. Because they have had limited handling and socialization, they are especially well-suited as barn cats or mousers. They are healthy, active, and already familiar with an outdoor setting where their natural hunting instincts can be put to good use. That said, many kittens can become wonderful companions with the right approach. Anyone interested in adopting them as pets should be prepared to invest time, patience, and consistency in the taming process. Successful socialization typically involves providing a quiet, secure space initially, allowing the kitten to adjust at its own pace, offering food and treats to build positive associations, spending regular time nearby, and gradually introducing gentle interaction and handling as trust develops. The younger the kitten and the more consistent the interaction, the greater the likelihood of developing a strong bond. We also highly encourage adopting kittens in pairs whenever possible. Thus, this is only for families able to intake (2) kittens. Having a familiar sibling or companion can make the transition to a new home less stressful, provide comfort and confidence during the adjustment period, and give them a built-in playmate as they grow. Paired kittens often adapt more quickly and can help each other feel secure in an unfamiliar environment.
