Sweet Violet
Like many roosters in a suburban chicken flock, Violet came with a clutch of chicks that were intended to be layers. We all know the story. Unfortunatly he became an alarm clock at the crack of dawn. He is gentle and kind and kept diligent watch for his ladies, performing dances for them and otherwise being wonderful.
