Turbo ❤️🐓

After a move into a new home with more space, we decided we wanted some feathered friends to join our family. We chose 4 baby chick hens, or so we thought. We were surprised when one of our chickens grew right into a speedy, confident rooster. His early signs of athleticism earned him the name “Turbo”. We have loved Turbo for his leadership and protection of the flock. We also love him for giving us his trust. He is great with physical touch, letting us and our 2-year-old pick him up and give him pets. We would love to keep Turbo, but unfortunately our circumstances don’t allow us to do so. We are looking for a family to take him in and give him a long, loving life.

He is a buff Orpington and born March 13th 2026.

Meet Beaker – Looking for the Right Forever Home

Beaker is a handsome 1-year-old Silkie rooster with a big personality packed into a small body. He may be little, but he’s incredibly brave and takes his job as flock protector seriously. He’s always keeping an eye on his hens and is quick to step in to break up squabbles, making him a wonderful flock guardian.

His crow is beautiful and surprisingly not overly loud. He grew up in a neighborhood where many of our neighbors enjoyed hearing and seeing him, but due to city ordinances, we can no longer keep a rooster.

Beaker is good with children. While he doesn’t enjoy being picked up or handled, he’s comfortable around people and will happily eat treats from your hand. He’s accustomed to living with both Silkie hens and standard-sized hens and does well with both.

We’re looking for a loving home where Beaker can continue doing what he does best—caring…
