Pick Your Peeps Shall-lay (Chalet)

Service Description

This private session is perfect for families that prefer an in person selection of the exact chickens to add to their flock or want to pick up our feed outside of our normal curbside order pick up hours. Guests gain personalized and dedicated time to select the exact chickens from any of the Starter Pullets or hens that are available at the time of their visit from our outdoor 'Pick your Peeps Shall-lay' run. Simply select the number of allotted chickens you want for your flock. We offer substituting each allotted bird for a bag of our sprouting feed if desired. The breeds and ages of the chickens available will vary based on what is available at the time of your session. The pick your peeps shall-lay runs are not inventoried by breeds and vary daily. If you are tempted to ask what breeds/ages are available, this activity is probably not the right fit. We offer online ordering of exact breeds and ages for curbside order pick up. If you like the idea of getting an exact breed and being able to enjoy a pick your peep session, place additional order(s) at least 1 hour prior to arrival. We will prepare the additional order(s) and have ready for pick up during your 'Pick your Peeps' session. Additional orders may include any feed, feeder, waterer, herbs, or other items you would like to order and pick up at the same time. Families need to bring their own method of humane transportation (boxes/crates/kennels). We do offer go home boxes for sale if needed. While families are not allowed in with the chickens for biosecurity, you may point to the one(s) you want. We will catch, and you may hold/inspect to confirm that each member is right for your flock. The more chickens you select, the lower the cost for each. ($80/ea): $80 for 1 ($75/ea): $150 for 2 ($70/ea): $280 for 4 ($60/ea): $360 for 6 ($50/ea): $600 for 12 ($40/ea): $800 for $20 To be respectful of other families, be sure to arrive on time for your scheduled session. Guests arriving early will remain in their vehicles to ensure previous guest time is not intruded upon. To respect families scheduled after your allotted time, the end time schedule will be honored. If you want more dedicated time to choose, be sure to book multiple consecutive sessions. If you arrive late, you will be able to use the time remaining in your session. If not already booked, you may add on another time slot. There are no refunds or rainchecks.

We do not offer refunds. Please only book an appointment if you know you will be able to attend.
