"We bought the second-smallest puppy in the litter Jasmine had a year ago today. We named her Daisy and love her very much. She is so smart and athletic and takes fetch VERY seriously!
She graduated from an AKC Star Puppy class (we were a bit worried she might not pass on a couple of items but she did) and from an intermediate obedience class. She is doing very well in our small condo but is still learning “leave it.” She is very curious and, sadly, we’ve trained her to take items—like the dish towels—so she can receive “big treat” to drop them."
Kellye shared that Daisy made pet of the month. The manager at Canine Fitness & Fun Center relayed that their "pet of the month" has to be nominated by a staff member, then there is discussion and the staff votes. The pet of the month article read:
November Pet of the Month: Daisy Crocker
Daisy has been coming to daycare with us since March! This little girl is the social butterfly of Canine Fitness and Fun Center. She rotates through all of our playrooms because she makes friends wherever she goes! Daisy's favorite hobby is swimming. She loves it so much she often refuses to get out of the water at the end of her swim. If you see her in the lobby she might let out a loud bark to say Hey! So if you see her, give her some love!Kellye continues her update with"She is part of our family. Thank you for breeding such healthy, wonderful dogs. (Two vets who saw her shortly after we got her commented on her good breeding!) Happy birthday to Daisy and all the other puppies in that litter!"
